"Cannot flush" error stops my Asset Publishers working

Hi all, I'm getting the error below.

22:01:58,672 ERROR [RuntimePageImpl-514][IncludeTag:129] Current URL /web/intranet/news generates exception: com.liferay.portal.kernel.search.SearchException: java.lang.IllegalStateException: this writer hit an OutOfMemoryError; cannot flush

I just added the language selection portlet to my custom theme's template ($theme.language("fm", null, "languageId", 2)), and after that came this error. On my News page I have 2 Asset Publishers (two columns) with news, which stopped working and are empty as this error occured.

It would be urgent to fix this ASAP, please help!

I think "OutOfMemoryError" in that message says a lot - have you tried raising the available memory for Liferay?
