Scott McNealy Highlights Liferay in POSSCON 2012 Keynote
Sun Microsystems Founder Speaks on Liferay's use of Wayin.com
Scott McNealy, co-founder of Sun Microsystems, provided the keynote address at the Palmetto Open Source Software Conference (POSSCON) 2012, which concluded today in Columbia, S.C. In his speech, McNeally mentioned Liferay, Inc., noting in particular the strong growth of Liferay within enterprises and how the open source portal provider sees its success tied to an actively engaged community. McNealy, who is the Excecutive Chairman for Wayin.com, a new social polling site, also described Liferay's use of Wayin.com to interface with its 65,000 community members.
