Liferay is responsible for the processing of personal data it receives, under the Privacy Shield Framework, and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. Company complies with the Privacy Shield Principles for all onward transfers of personal data from the EU, including the onward transfer liability provisions. With respect to personal data received or transferred pursuant to the Privacy Shield Framework, Liferay is subject to the regulatory enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. Liferay complies with the U.S. - Swiss Safe Harbor framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal data, including human resource personal information for employees and other individuals who provide services to Liferay, from Switzerland. Collection and use of your Personal Information
When you visit our website and choose to create an account, we will collect your personal information. We obtain session information (browser, time spent, page visits, referring site etc) & personal information (name and email address) via form submits from third party sources, such as HubSpot, to create and deliver personalized content and experiences through the Liferay website.

Liferay uses Local Storage (LS) such as HTML5 to store content information and preferences. Third parties with whom we partner to provide certain features on our site or to display advertising based upon your Web browsing activity use LS such as HTML 5 to collect and store information.
