remove liferay sync link in 6.1.ga1

Is it possible to remove the liferaysnc link in Document-Media? I don't use windows or macs so its meaningless for me.

Shinn: I assumed you meant to put that line in portal.ext-properties file. I did that but it did not remove link.

any thoughts?

Putting that in your portal-ext.properties should disable the message. Can you clarify where you want to remove it from or better yet, provide a screenshot?

Actually.. it might not be available to you in your version. It was added here: http://issues.liferay.com/browse/LPS-25439

Yes, we requested this feature after looking at Liferay 6.1.0GA1. Good to see that it's been implemented.

As of Liferay 6.1.0, it's still necessary to create a hook to modify the jsp file. I think I've uploaded a snippet to show what needs to be modified in one of the thread this year.
