get the users from ldap

I want to get into a portlet all users and groups from ldap, this is possible? and if so how I can do?

I searched inside the liferay api 6 but can not find anything to do

Hi Carlos,

Liferay doesn't have a portlet that connects directly to a LDAP server but you can configure Liferay to connect and import the users from a LDAP server and after that access the users through the Directory portlet.

I want to create this porltet to get the users.
Liferay in my portal, access correctly the LDAP for authenticate, but i need a new portlet that get the all the users from de LDAP
