Pedro Cabral is the Head of Business of Liferay Cloud, a newly launched Liferay division. Since 2012, he was responsible for planning and managing the Marketing operations of Liferay in Latin America, leading regional communications, demand generation and regional content strategy. He has also worked with international affairs and brand awareness in previous organizations. With experience in lead management and agile marketing, Pedro holds an MBA in Marketing and a Bachelor Degree in Political Science and International Relations.

Bryan Cheung steers the company's strategic direction and worldwide business development efforts as one of the founders serving with the company since its inception in 2004. Drawing on his technical experience, understanding of customer needs, and a passion for end users, Bryan leads Liferay in meeting its commitment to deliver focused and effective business solutions to its customers and its community. Bryan is a sought-after keynote speaker at major IT and open source industry events.
Jonas Choi joined Liferay as a Customer Support Engineer in 2010. After several years of serving our customers, Jonas entered the world of technical pre-sales, advising the Liferay Sales team. In early 2019, he joined Global Alliances as a technical resource and supports the North American team.

Bernard De Luna is a Senior Product Manager at Liferay Cloud. He has been working on digital projects since 1999, and participated in several projects in Brazil, USA, England, France and Australia. He has over 19 years of experience in the Products and Innovation area, having worked for companies such as Petrobras, GoDaddy, and Estacio University, and today is considered one of the biggest Product specialists in Brazil.
General Manager Latin America
Emanuel Di Matteo joined Liferay in 2012, becoming the company's General Manager for Latin America in 2018. Emanuel manages a 120+ people team, distributed in seven countries, and is responsible for defining and executing Liferay's strategy in the region. In recent years has been developing interest in issues related to high performing teams management, focusing on the role of leaders. Emanuel speaks English, Spanish and Italian fluently.
VP of Sales EMEA
As VP of Sales, EMEA, Edmund Dueck oversees Liferay’s growth and expansion in DACH, Benelux, France, Middle East and Africa. He is responsible for implementing the strategy in established and upcoming markets across these territories in the areas of Sales, Marketing and HR. He draws from over 20 years of experience in Sales, B2B communications, media production and digital marketing in enterprise and non-profit contexts. He lives and works in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
Public Relations Specialist
Anne Durey is the Public Relations Specialist of Liferay in Latin America. Since 2018 she is responsible for Institutional Relations, developing different brand awareness activities ranging from press relations, to social media, to developer relations and events. With experience in corporate communications, Anne holds a Bachelor Degree in Journalism.

Hannah Fischer is a Partner Marketing Manager at Liferay and responsible for implementing multichannel marketing strategies with Liferay’s service partners in DACH, BNL, Middle East and Africa. She has a passion for working within international teams and driving smart, creative and effective lead generation campaigns with channel partners.
Solution Architect Commerce
Jeff Handa is a Solution Architect with the Liferay Commerce team, responsible for supporting Liferay and Partner sales teams during the pre-sales phase of Liferay Commerce deals. Jeff also continues to work with the implementation team post sale to ensure that best practices are being followed. Jeff brings over 20 years of experience in developing and delivering enterprise grade solutions and has been working with the Liferay Platform for over 11 years.

As the Partner Enablement Manager, Kimberly Jones creates content, programs, and services for Liferay solutions that will drive incremental subscription revenue through highly engaged and well-prepared global partners. Kim comes to us from Cisco where she led Learning and Development and Change initiatives for the past 19 years.
VP, Asia Pacific & General Manager, Japan
Craig Kaneko, Vice President of Liferay’s Asia Pacific operations, has been with Liferay since 2006. Prior to running our operations in APAC and being GM for our Tokyo office, Craig was the Director of Subscription Services for Liferay, building the entire department from the start. Craig has extensive experience operationalizing much of Liferay’s support organization, allowing us to measure subscription support costs and efficiency. Craig graduated from the University of California, Irvine.

Wes Kempa joined Liferay as a Senior Sales Engineer in 2020. He has over eighteen years of professional experience holding technical, higher-education, and leadership roles with a variety of teams and technologies. Wes has been helping partners and companies deliver high-quality solutions built on Liferay for ten years and enjoys sharing his experiences in application development, user experience, and enterprise integrations to help enable others.

Bringing over 12 years of industry experience to Liferay, Salman Khan is responsible for technical enablement including training, solution demos, practice building and engagement for Liferay's partners.
VP of Sales EMEA
Carolina Moreno joined Liferay in 2009 as Business Development Director in Liferay Spain and Portugal. In 2012, she assumed the General Management for this territory, then for Southern Europe and starting in 2018, she became the Vice Presidency of Sales of EMEA.
Prior to Liferay, Carolina held national and internationally focused positions within the Telecommunication sector and leading Open Source software projects for other verticals. Moreno has also served as associate professor for Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid.

As Liferay’s Director of Global Alliances, Karen Newnam is responsible for the overall health and direction of the company’s robust channel. Karen’s 18-year career in the IT channel has seen her on both the vendor and partner sides of the table, and she brings this 360˚ view to every new endeavor. Glenn Saler manages the North American Channel sales team for commercial and public sector business. He joined Liferay in 2010 to help build mutual, profitable relationships with partners across the globe including multiple global/regional partnerships. He has over 20 years of technical and business experience in the software industry. Previously in his career, Glenn held multiple technical roles including Programmer Analyst, Oracle Database Administrator, Senior Java Developer and E-commerce Manager.

Darren Sepanek joined Liferay in 2019 to help grow and develop the partner program. With a background in marketing and channel development for software companies, Darren brings relevant expertise and a host of experiences to bear to help create a world-class channel program at Liferay.

Joe is the Vice President of Sales - North America and has been with Liferay since 2005. He has served in leadership roles across multiple business units at Liferay, including global services, operations, and sales. Prior to his current role, Joseph led business development as Director of Operations, Europe, overseeing expansion of software subscription sales in Europe before returning to North America to drive the next phase of growth in the region.

Jon Tam leads Liferay’s marketing team and is responsible for streamlining Liferay’s marketing strategy and communicating the business value of Liferay Digital Experience Platform and the solutions made possible by Liferay’s product portfolio. He joined the Liferay team in August 2019 after previous roles as an industry and marketing analyst at Forrester Research/SiriusDecisions. Prior to Forrester, Jon held a number of senior marketing roles at Catalent, J&J, as well as 2 digital agencies.
Technical Enablement Manager
Ben Turner has been with Liferay for 7 years and is the Technical Enablement Manager. Additionally, he helps to ensure customers and partners are updated on product direction for Product Management/Marketing in the APAC region. Ben has 25 years of experience in Enterprise Software and specializes in bridging the divide between Business and Technology. He possesses a deep knowledge of Liferay’s capabilities along with a genuine understanding of what this means to customers trying to solve business problems.

With over 25 years in the IT and Technology industries, Mike Wong has served in key operations, project management, and both product and business development roles for worldwide technology companies. He joined Liferay in 2010 and is an integral part of the sales organization having pushed the North America business forward by solidifying key strategic relationships. Prior to Liferay, Mike held senior positions at CompuLink Research, BioLink Technologies, ID Solutions, Inc. and Xerox.
