Hello,

We are seeing an odd issue with PDF files stored in a document repository. We are running EE 6.0 SP2. Files can be directly accessed and display in-browser as expected. However, when accessing files via the search engine, we have mimetype issues - the content of the PDF is returned to the screen.

Here is a search result list:

When you click on the search result links, one of the PDF's displays correctly:

But various others are broken:

The issue is that *some* PDFs are being returned as text/html:

HTTP_TRANSACTION_READ_RESPONSE_HEADERS
--> HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Server: Apache-Coyote/1.1
Content-Encoding: gzip
Liferay-Portal: Liferay Portal Enterprise Edition 6.0 EE SP2 (Bunyan / Build 6012 / July 27, 2011)
ETag: "574291e2"
Content-Type: text/html;charset=UTF-8
Content-Length: 12430
Date: Fri, 03 Feb 2012 14:18:04 GMT

If we directly visit the documents on the site, the PDF displays correctly.

Any thoughts?

Thank you, Ben
