HOW IT WORKS?

Create your app using Liferay’s newest architecture—Objects, Client Extensions, and Headless APIs.
Then upload your idea using the following:

  • App Name
  • Description
  • Screenshots or Mockups
  • Tech Stack/Extensions Used

Submissions have to be published Apps in the Liferay Marketplace or submitted Apps.

GUIDELINES

All submissions must:

  • Use Liferay’s new architecture (Objects, Client Extensions, Headless APIs)
  • Be original work
  • Be submitted via the contest form on this site

This contest is for Liferay developers ready to push the platform to new limits. You must complete or have proficiency in:

ACCOMMODATION
Is there a contingency of hotel rooms made available for attendees? 
We are working on getting room blocks at hotels within walking distance from the venue. You can find more information about the different hotel recommendations in the Accommodation page. 
JUDGING CRITERIA

Your app will be evaluated on:

Technical Soundness - Well-built, stable, and follows Liferay best practices
Creativity & Uniqueness - Fresh, original concepts that stand out
Commercial Usefulness - Real-world value and potential business impact

Votes may be allocated per category, so impress across the board!

The top 5 apps will receive DEVCON ticket rewards:
     - 1st and 2nd place: Free DEVCON tickets and a special prize
     - 3rd, 4th, and 5th place: Discounted DEVCON tickets
