Private Enablement Bootcamp Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
- Private bootcamps are available to official Liferay partners that would prefer to bring Liferay Trainers to their own location. Liferay will try to accommodate requests for a private bootcamp, but due to resource availability, we do not guarantee we can accommodate every request.
- The intended audience for private bootcamps are technical practitioners who work for official Liferay partners. Technical practitioners include Sales Engineers, Liferay Developers, Support Engineers/Representatives and similar technical roles. Bootcamps are not open to any customers or community members.
Fees
- An event fee of 10,000 USD will be invoiced prior to the training date.
- The event fee includes a three day training bootcamp that covers the same topics, and the same material as the public bootcamp.
- The event fee includes the cost of travel expenses for two Liferay trainers and any Liferay provided materials.
- Bootcamp event fees are not eligible for discounts.
Venue/Location
- Bootcamp will be delivered at the partner's location or a location of the partner's choosing. The location must be agreed upon before the bootcamp is scheduled.
- Partner will be responsible for providing the venue, internet connection for attendees and trainers, a projector, screens, notebooks, and any other equipment required for the bootcamp.
- Maximum number of participants are 20 students.
- The partner will also be free to record and/or stream the session for those employees that can't be present for the training. The cost, equipment, and logistics needed for recording and streaming are the partner's responsibility. The recordings and any material is limited to partner’s internal use and can not be publicly posted or shared with customers.
Materials & Prerequisites
- Private bootcamps will cover the same topics, and use the same material as the public bootcamps. In a private bootcamp, participants will have the opportunity to ask any additional questions time permitting.
- Partners can use and share all the course material within their own organization but course material cannot be shared or posted publicly.
- Liferay may grant use of provided material for customer training organized by a partner, but this needs to be agreed in writing beforehand.
- Partner is responsible for making sure each participant meets the minimum knowledge requirements and prepares themselves for the bootcamp as instructed by Liferay. These instructions will be provided a minimum 2 weeks before the bootcamp. These instructions may include (but are not limited to) software / hardware requirements, git account, completion of pre-study material etc.
- Each participant is responsible for providing their own laptop and any other material instructed by Liferay
Cancellations/Changes
- Both parties Partner and Liferay have the right to cancel private bootcamp 60 days prior. If a private bootcamp is canceled 59-45 prior 50% of the bootcamp fee will be charged from the partner. Any change later than 45 days prior may result in charging the full fee.
