Public Enablement Bootcamp Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
- Only technical practitioners who work for Liferay or official Liferay partners are eligible to register as students for the bootcamps. Technical practitioners include Sales Engineers, Liferay Developers, Support Engineers/Representatives and similar technical roles. Bootcamps are not open to any customers or community members.
- At the time of registration the participant attests he/she is eligible and approved to participate as a technical practitioner representing his/her company and the provided contact and invoicing details are correct.
- Liferay may limit the number of participants from a partner to ensure all partners have an opportunity to participate in a bootcamp.
Fees
- A participant fee of 500 USD (excl. VAT) per participant (for non-Liferay employees) will be invoiced and paid prior to the training date.
- The participant fee includes the cost of the training and use of training materials. Liferay retains ownership of training materials and all content within.
- The participant fee includes simple lunch and snacks according to the bootcamp agenda provided by Liferay. Participation in snacks and meals is voluntary but no discounts are given if attendees do not participate.
- Bootcamp participant fees are not eligible for discounts. Liferay has the right to cancel participation of a student whose participation fee is overdue.
- Each participant is responsible for arranging and paying for all their travel related bookings and fees themselves.
Materials & Prerequisites
- Participants can use and share all the course material within their own organization but course material cannot be shared or posted publicly.
- Liferay may grant use of provided material for customer training organized by a partner, but this needs to be agreed in writing beforehand.
- Each participant is responsible for meeting the minimum knowledge requirements and preparing themselves for the bootcamp as instructed by Liferay. These instructions will be provided a minimum 2 weeks before the bootcamp. These instructions may include (but are not limited to) software / hardware requirements, git account, completion of pre-study material etc.
- Each participant is responsible for supplying their own laptop and any other material as instructed by Liferay
Cancellations /changes
- Participants may cancel their participation 30 days prior to the start of the registered bootcamp without any costs.
- Participants may request to transfer their registration to another scheduled bootcamp within the same calendar year up to 15 days prior to the start of the registered bootcamp. Transfer requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
- Participants may request to transfer their registration to another qualified attendee (as described above) up to 1 day prior to the registered bootcamp. The original participant is responsible for providing the instructions to the new participant as well as informing Liferay of the change including all contact details for the new participant.
