Orange is present in 20 countries in Africa. Recently, Orange’s successful innovation outcome finds its source in solving the problem of low access to a bank account in Africa with Orange Money. Orange Money is an innovation movement that started from user and market observations, adopting a bottom-up approach, and attracted 50 million users. The end result was the transformation of peoples’ lives in 20 countries, progressing toward a cashless society.

He currently helps the 20 innovation managers of Orange Africa to develop their projects locally. Previously he created several open innovation programs: innovation with employees (Orange Intrapreneurs Studio), innovation with consumers (Imagine with Orange), innovation with entrepreneurs (Orange African Toolbox). Consolidating this experience with the ones of 40 corporations, he wrote in 2019 The Intrapreneurs' Factory, a practical guide to leverage intrapreneurship for your company. Passionate speaker (TEDx), Masterclasses lecturer @Google Academy and Tech/Business Schools, ISPIM Prize laureate for innovation management in 2016, Nicolas is the writer of the innovation blog RapidInnovation.fr.
