Hi,

We are currently working on a new theme for one of our clients, as part of the design we want to give users the facility to use the notes portlet but on a individual level.

example:
I log into the portal, the notes portlet is on my screen ready to type into, i type away and click save
another user logs into the portal, instead of seeing my notes, they will see an empty note ready to type their notes into.
i logout, then log onto another machine, login to the portal then i see my note from step 1

Is this achievable with the current out the box notes portlet? or does it require some coding?

Many Thanks

Unfortunately no. You'll have to customize it. It seems to be storing values in portlet's preference so you'll have to modify it to store it in it's own database table be defining service builder entities. This shouldn't be too difficult because quick note portlet really isn't doing too much.

Just have the following columns:
noteId long
companyId long
groupId long
userId long
color String
data String
