CAS authentication works fine with version Liferay version CE 6.1.0.
Now as we have a newer version, I m upgrading my application to the latest version 6.1.1 to experiance better UI, better features etc..

I followed same steps to configure the CAS as I followed with 6.1.0. I refered below links

Steps seems to be not working. From CAS login page I give the correct credentials, CAS authenticates and generates TGT and ST but
the user remains in liferay portal login page. I have verified the steps many times but it doesnt work..

Can someone help me figure out how to configure CAS with liferay v 6.1.1

Seems the urls in new liferay are different. like the login page url.

Once the user is authenticated through CAS, it generates the ticket granting ticket. The service url i provided was
http://localhost:8080/c/portal/login?p_l_id = 10853

The service gets validated by CAS and it generates the service ticket also...But then it doesnt log in the user.. emoticon

Is CAS is not compatible with Liferay 6.1.1 ? Someone please help

Have you gotten this to work yet? We noticed the same problem, just installed 6.0 and it worked properly, doesn't work with 6.1.1 ga2. Can't seem to find anything in any of the logs either.

No..We didnt find any solution to that issue..In new versions the login and logout urls has changed..And just by replacing these urls with old ones doesnt work..
We sticked to the same old version of liferay 6.0

If enabled, try disabling:

1live.users.enabled=true

If that works.. it may be already fixed by http://issues.liferay.com/browse/LPS-29218

I didnt get the solution.. How does "live.users.enabled = true" fix the issue with CAS authentication?

Can you please elaborate the steps to fix the issue with CAS + Liferay authentication.
