Hi,

Does anybody know where to look for for disabling the inplace editing of site page titles in navigation. It's annoying when you try to click the link to go to a page and instead it goes to edit mode. I gather this is some JS woodoo as there is nothing special in navigation.vm.

Thanks,

Samuli

Hi,

If you want to disable just the inline editing on the top you can set the class differently in the theme.

Default is:
1#set ($nav_css_class = "sort-pages modify-pages")

Change that to
1#set ($nav_css_class = "")
2#if (!$has_navigation)
3    #set ($nav_css_class = $nav_css_class + " aui-helper-hidden")
4#end

... by adding it in _diffs/templates/init_custom.vm in your theme(s).

This will disable the rename and reorder of the pages in the standard view even if the user would have the permission to do so.
The user can still change the values in the control panel.

But this solution provokes a kind of a bug :
when I add a new page (test3) a 'x' button appears bellow it , and it disappears when I reload the page
