Hi All,

I want to clarify the difference between developing the UI part of portlets using liferay taglibs(alloy ui, liferay UI) and normal methods(java script,jquerry ...).


Suppose If i develop the UI part completely using the normal methods what will happen?

Is there any performance issues are there ?

Is there any possibility of missing of functionality provided by liferay ?
