I'm using the default configuration for liferay 6.1

When I log in I'm able to open the following URL.

http://localhost:8080/group/7cogs/home

When I log out and try to open the page I get the "Not Found" error.

Is there something I can do so that the user is prompted for a login then redirected to the requested page? I'd like this to work for any of the private pages so if they ask for /group/7cogs/home they're prompted to log in before they're sent to /group/7cogs/home and if they ask for /group/7cogs/Documents they're prompted to log in before they're sent to /group/7cogs/Documents.

I'm not interested in changing the landing page property under portal settings because this would not direct the user to the URL they had requested.

I'm expecting something like where the site passes the requested URL to the login page.

http://localhost:8080/web/guest/home?redir=/group/7cogs/home

Are you sure you don't have any custom changes coursing this? I just did a quick test with clean liferay-portal-6.1.0-ce-ga1 instance (note that 7cogs is not delivered OOTB with liferay-portal-6.1.1-ce-ga2) and it works as expected.

I upgraded from liferay-portal-6.1.0-ce-b4 to liferay-portal-6.1.1-ce-ga2 and that seemed to fix the problem. Thanks!
