Hi everyone, thanks for reading my topic!
I want to create a portlet for recruitment process for a organization.
Assume that:
In Liferay portal, I created an organization, named as TD. I also created 3 roles and assign users: Candidate, Hrd (human resource department) and Director.
I developed 3 portlets for candidates can read recruitment article, submit CV; Hrd can manage CVs; and Director can consider to approve CVs.
I also created the recruitment workflow definition (file .xml) by Kaleo engine ( candidate apply CV, Hrd consider CV and then evaluate Test round, Interview round, and submit to Director.
Now, How can I combine workflow file and portlets in order that the portlets can work follow by the workflow file?

Is the portlet belong to any above resource ? like Web content or Wiki .....
If not, I must follow this way ?
Which way I can implement it ?
Thanks in advance emoticon

Hi,
Dynamic Data List is not the solution, and no other liferay default resources are adapt to build the recruiment system you want.
The main problem is one: security and permissions.

With default liferay resources (DDL, Wiki, Forum, etc) you cannot setup the permission correctly to guarantee that an user cannot see the CV upload by another user. I think you want that an user can see in any moment its own resume and uploaded CV, but he cannot see in nay ways the others users personal data.

You have to build a custom portlets with custom services, i see no othr ways.
bye

We have "HR Recruitment Portal" business module configured about 6 months ago which is currently in use by clients including government. We might even push it to Liferay Marketplace (if find enough time).

The functions include:
- listing of vacancies and vacancy details on anonymous and private sites
- separation on internal and external vacancies
- vacancy template management
- application template management
- notification email management and email template management
- access to applicant's application status
- administration of vacancies with various statues, e.g. PENDING, OPEN, CLOSED, APPROVED, etc
- audit history
- etc, etc

Available for Liferay CEs as well. You can get more details from us via this contact form.

Similar Liferay business modules are also available for HR Employee Performance Management, Customer Support , etc
