Hi all,

Has anyone been successful in getting the rcs-slider to work? If so, would like to hear how you did it. I installed but config isn't working and in logs it says it can not find jquery-1.7.1.js.

Assuming you're using a 6.x version of Liferay, jquery is not supported. You'll need to add jquery support either directly to the portlet or via the theme.

did including the jquery.1.7.1.in.js as header-portlet in the liferay-portlet.xml work for you?
I have tried that but still get porlet temporarily unavailable.

I have users using jquery portlets on 6.0.6 without any problem. The portlets also works on 6.1.0 but 6.1.0 is too buggy for customer usage so I'm still offering 6.0.6 solutions.

Priyanka: It works with latest rcs-slider release. Make sure you have included jquery support for portal. The link in this thread shows how to do that.
