Hi ,

I am trying to auto-subscribe Message boards to User, whenever the User account is created.
The Workflow :
1. New User Created.
2. Communities assigned to new users.
3. Now, i need, the user gets automatically subscribe the message boards in that community, so that all the updates in that message board will be send as notification by email to User.

Please help me on this. I am using Liferay 6.0.5 .

for assigning Communities to new users,

You can do this by specifying Default User Associations in Control Panel -> Portal Settings -> Users -> Default User Associations

For automatic subscription, I think you have to write some logic on your own.

I am trying to get users subscribed categories to a new page..any ideas how to do this?
