Hi all,

Back before the 6.1 release, I generated a big list of over 300 names of people that have contributed (large and small) to Liferay over the last year or so leading up to the 6.0 and 6.1 releases. This was culled from JIRA, GitHub, SVN, translate.liferay.com, the wiki, and other sources of contributions. I really wanted this to be baked into the official README in the downloads, but due to privacy/legal reasons I could not. However, all is not lost. I just created a wiki page and I'd like to ask all of you who have contributed to Liferay to please add your name/info to it! This way, you can 'opt-in' to have your name highlighted as a contributor to Liferay. This will have a better chance of being baked into the releases in a more permanent way!

Contributions come in many forms, and in many sizes, so if you have contributed to Liferay in any way, please check out the wiki page and add your information if you are willing! Many of us come and go, and I feel we need a way to enshrine your contributions for years to come, so that we don't lose track of the awesome work that you have all put in over the last many years. And it costs nothing emoticon

Yeah!! You deserve it! I encourage everyone that has contributed, no matter how small, to the list - I'm going to try and get it into the 6.2 README so no one is left behind emoticon
