Description
HTML5 Upload is a file upload app to upload images, documents and files using Ajax. HTML5 Upload Plug-in is developed using HTML5, jQuery, mustache templates and Bootstrap 3.0 framework
Uploaded files are saved in the fileupload directory in the parent root directory. If fileupload directory doesn't exist, app creates a new directory in the root directory.
File upload directory can be configured using portlet preferences or in the portlet.xml file by setting the value for the portlet init parameter "default-upload-location" in the portlet.xml.

21. Plug-in UI is developed using jquery widget framework, mustache templates and bootstrap framework can easily extendable and customizable.
22. Easy to customize file upload implementation as HTML5 Upload Implementation is developed using java interfaces. Customers can write their own implementations like storing the uploaded file into the database instead of file system, without changing the Portlet code.

Customization:
This App can be easily customizable. Please refer to https://sites.google.com/site/mrportlet/customization
to know more about customizations. However for more deeper customizations, Standard license customers can request for source code. Source code will be provided for free of cost, but source code should not redistributed and should only use for your customizations. No support will be provided for customer customizations.
Application Server Support:
HTML5 FileUpload app works on all supported platforms which are supported by Liferay except GlassFish Server.
Currently HTML5 FileUpload app do not support GlassFish application server on Liferay 6.1 EE and Liferay 6.1 CE GA3 but app works fine on Liferay 6.2 CE and Liferay 6.2 EE versions.

Installation Instructions
This is a Legacy App that is no longer available in the new App Marketplace. You are able to acquire it from your installed DXP or CE instance and install it by following the instructions below.
Acquiring this App through the legacy Liferay Portal Store
- Review app documentation for any specific installation instructions.
- Login to your Liferay Portal instance with administrative permissions.
- Navigate to the Control Panel, Marketplace (or Apps for 7.3 and prior), then Store.
- If needed, login to your Liferay.com account by choosing Sign In.
- Search for the app name in the Search dialog.
- Once the app is found, click on the app in the search results.
- On the app details page, choose to acquire the app by selecting the Free, Buy, or Trial button.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the acquisition.
Installing this App through legacy Liferay Portal Purchased Apps
- After acquiring the app, login to your Liferay Portal instance with administrative permissions.
- Navigate to the Control Panel, Marketplace (or Apps for 7.3 and prior), then Purchased.
- If needed, login to your Liferay.com account by choosing Sign In.
- Click the Install button to install your app on your Liferay Portal instance.
