Why Liferay CMS
Only the right content for each group
Retail clients see your product information. Professional clients also see materials approved only for them. Role-based permissions control who can edit content and who can see it, in one platform.
Every team publishes on its own schedule
Each team, brand, or region gets its own space, with its own languages and permissions. Shared content structures and approvals keep everything on brand and compliant, without central sign-off on every change.
Compliance built into the content
Approvals run and are recorded in the platform. Required disclosures can't be skipped. Export version history for audits, or roll back to the last approved version without changing the published URL.
Your data, where you choose
Run Liferay CMS self-hosted or cloud native, so you decide where content and user data live, and who operates the environment.
How it works
Built for Everyone Who Signs Off
DIGITAL AND CONTENT OPERATIONS
Once your front end is in place, your teams publish and translate on their own schedule. The guardrails sit in the content structures, not in a queue of approvals.
LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE
Enforcement, not policy. Required fields can’t be skipped, approvals are recorded in the platform, and version history can be exported for audits.
IT SECURITY
Role-based permissions cover authoring and delivery, in one platform. Liferay CMS works with your existing identity provider, and you choose where it runs: self-hosted or cloud native.
